TÉLBÚCSÚZTATÓ ALTER DÜHÖNGŐ // Astorias + MADMIKE + Butterbros

28.02.2025 Friday18:00Main Hall

Building on the success of last year’s ALTER DÜHHÖNGŐ, we will meet again in 2025, but this time in the Great Hall instead of the clubroom. And this time, we’re not opening the New Year, we’re disrupting the whole winter as it is.

The recipe is the same as last year:
Buy an excellent Budapest nightclub.
– Three fresh, crisp Hungarian bands
– Add Grunge, Alter and Punk seeds
– A bit of Budapest underground feel (just the way mum likes it)
– Let them boil for a night
And you’ve got the perfect winter party!

LINEUP:
Opening – 18:30
Butterbros – 19:00
Astorias – 20:10
MADMIKE – 21.20

ASTORIAS:
Did you know that Astoria is named after the Astoria Hotel, where Gyula Krúdy was a regular guest? He liked the hotel because the cleaner only came late and cleaned quietly. So he didn’t wake him up when he fell from one depressed sleep to another the next day. And, to be honest, we all have a hangover-depressed Crookedie in all of us who doesn’t want people coming into his room at the crack of dawn to clean loudly.
Astorias, (re)formed in 2021, bring you the real Krúdy experience and mix several musical styles (grunge, indie, alt-metal) to make sure you don’t want a single rattling soul in your room at dawn.

BUTTERBROS:
You receive:
– alternative british hard rock mind-blowing
– sexboys hyperactive in a sexy (and hyperactive) way
– soul-deep lyrics (and Macarena cover)
– POGO

We receive:
– cathartic pleasure lining
– enthusiastic audience (Ti)
– (((((((money?)))))))

MADMIKE:
True to their name, MADMIKE mixes styles in a crazy way, sampling modern alternative rock, post-punk and garage rock, all with a hint of synth thrown in for good measure. We’ve released 4 albums since we came on the scene: Ocean of Sounds (2019), Are you a dreamer? (2020), Confessions of a Madman (2022) and our first Hungarian-language release Merre fordul (2023), with songs like Freakin’ out, Black Burger, Money and Fordul. At this concert we will introduce our newest guitarist, who – fun fact – was also the drummer of our first album, Tamás Iklódi. Of course, the long album list is useless, but we’ll also play some exciting songs from our 2025 material.
