Péter Pető: Football can never be over – Book launch
At the launch of Péter Pető’s book The Football Can Never End, József Nagy, chief editor of 24.hu, talks to the author.
On the back cover of the first 24.hu volume, the book is recommended with this dedication:
„If there is any democracy in football, it is definitely on the pages of Péter Pető’s book. We play together with Leo Messi and Lekvár from Zemplén, blow the whistle in county games and World Cup finals with Sándor Puhl, mow the lawn with the legendary Uncle Jani from Hatvan, and of course cheer with our mouths full in Sri Lanka, Dunaszerdahely and on the back lawn behind God’s back, young, old, seriously ill or even blind. Meanwhile, we reflect with Amartya Sen, Byung-Chul Han and TGM on truth, loyalty, community, Guardiola, Marvel heroes and Lőrinc Mészáros in a volume based on the author’s previous football writings. What more eloquent proof that football is everything?”
