🎶 Nathan Johnston (formerly Sion Hill) – Acoustic Concert at Turbina | April 23, 2025 🎶

Experience an intimate night of heartfelt melodies and soulful storytelling as Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Johnston (formerly known as Sion Hill) returns to Budapest for a one-night-only acoustic concert.

After memorable performances at Sziget Festival (2018) and Veszprém Street Music Festival, this marks Johnston’s first Hungarian show under his own name. As part of a European tour across Germany, Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands, this special event brings fans the chance to hear brand-new songs, acoustic versions from his debut album Elephant, and stripped-down renditions of his collaborative work with Hamburg’s Angels of Libra soul collective.

🧡 ABOUT NATHAN JOHNSTON

Hailing from Mullingar, Ireland, Nathan blends soul, pop, and acoustic folk, drawing inspiration from artists like Otis Redding, Jack Johnson, and Paolo Nutini.

As Sion Hill, he spent six years touring with artists like Pete Doherty, A-ha, and Alice Merton, before reclaiming his music rights in 2022 and rebranding under his real name. His first post-rebrand project was a critically acclaimed record with Angels of Libra, with tracks like Angel of Libra and All Your Love receiving wide airplay across Europe.

In recent years, he has continued to evolve, releasing singles like Barbara, All The Stages, and Warm Milk. His upcoming solo EP, inspired by a creative retreat in Corfu, is due out later this year, followed by a new Angels of Libra album in the fall.

This special concert at Turbina offers a rare opportunity to hear Nathan’s latest music in its most raw and honest form, along with reimagined fan favorites from the past. Whether you’ve followed his journey from the start or are just discovering his sound, expect an unforgettable evening of music, emotion, and connection.
