MYRTUS (HERSELF) I QUACK I TOTORO
MYRTUS (HERSELF)
Myrtus is an evergreen plant. It is a festive flower, the favourite of Aphrodite. Symbol of loyalty, courage and victory. It is also the alterrock formation founded by the Bakos brothers in 2024. The project, which has evolved from the band HERSELF, brings to the stage with renewed energy the Bakos’ favourite moments of their lives or their problems that they can’t help but put into song. The brother and sister duo are trying to take themselves and their audience in a more upbeat and cheerful direction than usual, under the slogan „Let’s be in a good mood, dress it up!”.
QUACK (ELECTRO)
100% smart-pop or something like that… alter (?) lyrics, grooves, solos, percussive brass aranzas (it’s even true). And ducklings. And a bigger one. Quack have been taking music seriously for 6 years now, unlike themselves, having toured the country in recent years either as an audience award winning acoustic at the Street Music Festival or as a big band line-up marching to the final of the Dal. Now we present our songs again with a new, electronic twist, from a slightly different perspective
TOTORO
TOTORO is a band founded by Anna Kollarics and Attila Kollarics, who play their own songs written in Hungarian. Since January 2020, they have performed at Fishing on Orfù, Ördögkatlan Festival, Dadabánya Underground Arts Festival and several times at the Veszprém Street Music Festival. Their first album was released in 2022 under the title Akvárium, which was recorded a year later with an expanded band line-up. Last year, they opened for Siam AndFriends, and this year they completed their first own tour.
The concert on 22 November will be the encore, with new compositions in the pipeline.
