We chose the title CLARITY because we believe in the cathartic power of movement and music—a natural high that rivals any intoxication or altered state achieved through external means. Flow is a place where it is always good to be; it is the collaborative work of the brain’s primal, instinctive receptors—a state we access less and less in our daily lives unless we regularly practice the path leading there.

The lobotomia_collective is an independent movement improvisation troupe active since 2018, with a core focus on liberation. The interaction between different artistic fields creates psychological, sociological, and even neurological situations that are essential if we wish to connect, feel, and grow. The liberation found in movement, the situational drama born from improvisation, and the audience’s passive or active participation together shape the atmosphere and space of the performance.

With four DJs from Mono Kollektiv, the music will react to the pulse of the present moment just as naturally as the breath of the lobotomia_collective dancers. While electronic music has been part of the daily lives of the Mono Kollektiv members for many years, they found a shared soundscape together that they now wish to share with the world.
