Csaba Szendrői, frontman of the Elefánt band, singer-songwriter has been on stage for almost 15 years. In 2018, Artisjus voted him Songwriter of the Year, but he has also made his mark in many other fields besides music. His modern, bold and uncompromising lyrics are deep and moving, yet simple.

His versatility is demonstrated by the fact that he has published two volumes with Scolar (As If I Must, The Things and What’s Behind Me), has been a regular guest at literary evenings, has worked as a creative writer and has also tried his hand at gastronomy. In 2020, he invented the #olvasniszabad movement, which has since been joined by Kitti Jakabovits, psychologist and literary therapist. Her aim is to promote reading, self-development and the impact of reading on one’s personality, mind and thinking.
