The Turbina Gallery opens its doors for the second time to bring to life the visual universe of painting students from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. As a continuation of the Turbina Salon exhibition series, it once again evokes the tradition of salon exhibitions – a practice that served to present artists’ works and to foster dialogue and critical reflection.

Visitors can gain insight into the students’ works, where the tension between the weight of painting tradition and the possibilities of contemporary modes of expression gives rise to a fertile dialogue. The exhibited works bear witness to the intensive artistic work that unfolds during the university years: the articulation of an individual voice, shaped through social questions, spiritual contemplation, stylistic decisions, and the deepening of technical knowledge.
