How Do You Fit In? – Group Exhibition by MOME Photography Students
📍 Turbina Gallery
🗓 Opening: April 11, 6 PM
🖼 On view until May 2
We warmly invite you to the opening of the group exhibition by photography students from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME).
Exhibiting artists:
Deák Dorottya, J. Hartelin, Róbert Nunkovics, Emma Szabó, Márk Szabó, Dániel Szarka, Ádám Zsíros
The concept of belonging is both simple and complex. In a world of diversity and division, we all navigate the tension between individuality and the desire to fit in. These works explore the nuances of empathy and alienation, masks and identities, and the various ways we connect—or fail to connect—with others.
Through the artists’ unique perspectives, the exhibition delves into personal narratives:
-
Ádám Zsíros’ encounter with Zsuzsa in Csepel
-
Dániel Szarka’s drag portraits
-
Emma Szabó’s documentation of Budapest high schoolers
-
J. Hartelin’s reflections on masculinity and aging
-
Márk Szabó’s installations
-
Róbert Nunkovics’ silent observations on Népsziget
