Yes, yes, we’ll be back on stage in May, at Turbina, with Kati Héjja! Buy your tickets or you’ll be sorry!
Bence Tasnádi, artist of the Katona József Theatre, founded his band ED IS ON in his teenage years, which after the initial successes has gone through many changes, and the band, now consisting of professional musicians, plays jazz-influenced rock music, and the songs are imbued with the drama brought from the theatre.
Cream. was formed a year ago. There are five members in the group, four students of Theatre Arts (Kristóf Biró, Ádám Lukács, András Molnár, Zsigmond Nyomárkay) and one student of the Academy of Music (Kristóf Urbán). At the beginning they only played music for their own entertainment, but in the past year they have performed at several university events, at the Fonó Buda Music Hall, at the V4 festival and at the Double Rise festival in Torocko.
Their first thematic album will be released soon, with lyrics borrowed from their performances. Their aim is to present quality, timeless texts (such as János Arany, Sándor Petőfi, William Shakespeare, Georg Büchner) in a youthful, modern voice, bypassing conventions and experimenting with new sounds.
