Amaro Duho

The Amaro Duho band was founded in 2021 by Matild Dobi, who was part of the founding of Ando Drom in 1984 and has toured with the band on numerous national and international tours. Her career has continued ever since, representing Roma culture with several formations, both nationally and internationally. She felt that the time was right to realise her dream of playing music with her children, thus passing on to them her decades of musical experience and Roma cultural values. The resulting family band, Amaro Duho (Our Soul), plays traditional Hungarian Oláh gypsy music, spiced with their own melodies and thoughts. This gives the music a unique, unmistakable sound.
