After our very successful book launch in Győr and in non-Debark, we are even more pleased to invite all our dear Bukowski-reading friends to the launch of Charles Bukowski’s The Most Beautiful Woman in the City on 15 May at 18:45 at Turbina

The Most Beautiful Woman in the City is published for the first time in Hungary, and this is the first unpublished volume in Hungary for seven years.
The book, published by Troubadour Books and Vörösbegy Könyvek, features thirty short stories, and if short stories are the Instagram post of literature (© Péter Pritz), then Bukowski has now given us thirty posts that will be as memorable as meeting the first love of your life, or getting fucked, gigged or drunk for the first time.

At the book launch, Zsolt Prieger, founder of Anima Sound System and one of the country’s most important cultural warriors, will be in conversation with the translator, Péter Pritz, who has been the „Hungarian voice of Bukowski” for 20 years, and during the discussion, one of the country’s most talented actresses, star of the film Semmelweis and one of the most beautiful women in town, Katica Nagy, will read excerpts from the book. They are also the stars of the show because they are Bukowski fans themselves.
