Butterbros/ Heavy Brains @Fülesbagoly trip
The Fülesbagoly Trip is a series of concerts organised by the Fülesbagoly Foundation at the Turbina Cultural Centre. The monthly evenings will feature pairs of finalists from the last seven seasons of the Fülesbagoly Talent Show. On 15 March, Butterbros and Heavy Brains will perform in the third stage of the Owl Trip.
Founded in 2020, the year of the alternative hard rock band Butterbros will see some big changes, and the Budapest trio is ripe for a new chapter. In recent years they have performed at the A38 Ship, Analog Music Hall, and most recently at the Dürer Kert as the opening act for Elefánt, and will be taking over Turbina for the second time. A special feature of the evening is that they will also play some songs from their first album, which will be released in the autumn, and they may even ask the audience for help in the creative process.
Heavy Brains’ first milestone was their 10-song album ‘Strapped Wings’, released in 2021. The band won the Joy of Music Grand Prix in 2022 and the NKA
In January 2024, the band released their second album ‘Learned Methods’. Their style is mainly defined by the alternative – synth/pop-rock line.
