Koni 007 and KineDok Hungary would like to invite you to one of the events of the Pride Community Festival, where we are going to screen the Croation documentary film, Grand Prize, we will meet and talk with the director Anja Koprivšek and you can experience the magic of the ballroom scene and community.

Under the auspices of the growing Zagreb ballroom scene, Teo, a young trans man in search of his place, finds support and inspiration in Valentina, a veteran of the scene and an experienced dancer. She introduces him to her world, thereby starting their mutual transformation: Valentina supports Teo in his transition and ballroom journey, and Teo breaks down her walls with his persistence. As time passes, their relationship develops and deepens, and the young couple begins to dream of a future together.

The film received awards at the Verzió Film Festival, ZagrebDox and the Liburnia Film Festival.

The screening is followed by a discussion with director Anja Koprivšek.

The ANYBODY WALKING is a safe(r) space for the local and international ballroom community to get together, celebrate ballroom have fun and practice for walkng balls.

If you walk any categories, be inspired by the colours of the Hungarian flag (red, white, green) showing solidarity and support for the Hungarian queer community or your pride as a member of the Hungarian queer community. Let’s show everyone that we belong here and we’re not going anywhere, as the slogan of the 30th Budapest Pride says it as well.
