The music of 75 Dollar Bill is a mystery. They draw as much from ancient African and Middle Eastern traditions as they do from New York’s No Wave era; you can’t ever be sure whether they are going to perform as a duo act, with a couple of good friends or as part of a 25-piece band. The formation evokes elemental emotions, and now we can be part of their wanderings from energetic melodies to minimalist trance at Turbina.
