Seventeen years ago, the volcano erupted, and since then, Lava has been flowing relentlessly in Budapest, across Hungary, and now in several major cities around the world. LavaLava gigs have taken place in Berlin, Paris, Bratislava, and Ibiza, while we’ve also played individual sets in Manchester, Rome, Barcelona, Malta, and Tel Aviv. We’ve launched our own label to showcase our productions to a global audience.

With more than 100 international bookings, we’ve contributed to putting Budapest firmly on the global clubbing map. Among these artists is Deetron, who played for us 12 years ago. We were in awe as he mixed with four channels simultaneously, leaving us speechless with his seamless blending of house and techno with tribal rhythms or even dub. As a producer, he boasts an exceptionally strong discography, from peak-time groovy bombs that fill dance floors to hypnotic tribal-techno depths.
