Kolibri
Behind the stage name Kolibri is András Bognár, who has gained increasing popularity in the Hungarian music and festival scene over the past four years. In his introspective songs, he mixes the alternative/indie genre with electronic elements. His goal is to create an intimate, melancholic atmosphere where listeners have the opportunity to focus on their inner experiences—leaving the outside world behind—and immerse themselves in their own inner world.
Kolibri’s first full-length album in 2023, titled Nagyon Jó, Nagyon Rossz, Nagyon Jó („Very Good, Very Bad, Very Good”), achieved success from critics and the general audience as well, leading to sold-out club shows and major festival appearances. Kolibri is the creator of the Végtelen Jövő Hajógyár Anthem, has released two singles with Hundred Sins, and is a recurring collaborator with the Wavy collective. The full album was followed by the KEIKO single in September 2023, and at the end of 2024, an EP titled Ballagás („Graduation”) with five tracks, featuring Co Lee and TEMBO. The production, which started as a solo artist, has expanded into a three-person live band. At the end of 2024, the band embarked on a 10-stop tour, which they concluded with two sold-out concerts at the A38 Ship in Budapest. The band’s second full-length album, Rúnák („Runes”), was released in the spring of 2025 and was celebrated with a sold-out album launch (at Akvárium Klub NagyHall) and a subsequent tour across the countryside. In addition to their active presence in Budapest, the band aims to actively maintain the interest of the provincial audience. Beyond their own concerts, the musical trio can be caught at most of the major Hungarian music festivals.
