Yes my friend, the legends are true. In those ten-storey high grey panel towers in the former Újpest, Csepel and Óbuda, people lived in prehistoric times.
And yes, it’s also true that on November 1st, at the crack of dawn on this eerie date, the former inhabitants of the grey towers rise up, swarm out and plunge into the catacombs of Turbina with choir pedals, 80s Russian synths and distorted bass guitars.
In the morning, they hide, they puppet and wait for nightfall to spread their wings and sing the post-punk songs of their bygone era, which you can now witness in your ears for an exceptional – and perhaps not the last – time.
